Group / Centre Activities

Our NDIS Group and Centre Activities are designed to hold the people together in a supportive, healthy, and entertaining environment. There is a better way to learn and grow together- through connecting, being creative, and having an everyday experience that provides confidence and independence. As a registered NDIS provider, we also offer inclusive group programs where socialization, skills acquisition, and engagement with meaning can take place.

We plan our activities quite well, starting with casual social gatherings and gradually moving on to more professional skills development programs, so that every member feels secure, encouraged, and supported to participate in the best way that suits them.

What Are NDIS Group/ Centre Activities?

NDIS Group / Centre Activities are the funded supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme that help the participants to join the planned activities or join the center-based or group activities. These assists provide an opportunity to learn new skills, find contacts, and enjoy nice activities within a well-organized and desirable environment.

These activities assist the participants to:

  • Build confidence in social and group settings
  • Develop communication and interpersonal skills
  • Gain practical life and personal development skills
  • Be more independent and self-expressive
  • Help a person feel a sense of belonging and a community

The programs can be long-term or short-term, depending on individual goals and NDIS funds.

Our Group and Centre Activity Programs

Our group-based programs are highly diverse and rely on the interests, capabilities, and objectives of the participants, including:

  • Social and recreational group activities
  • Creative and expressive programs, e.g., art, music, or hands-on project works
  • Life skills and personal development workshop
  • Community participation programs and group outings
  • Developing confidence, teamwork, and communication.
  • Centre-based learning and engagement sessions
  • Small group or individualized support within group settings in case of need

All the activities are offered based on the participant’s NDIS plans, individual goals, and preferred level of assistance.
